Adventures in America past
—with love and humor—
with values and stick-to-it-ness.
“It’s the joy of living in a time of trust and rewarding hard work—a faith walk-country tale that makes you ask for more.”
—Ron Sunley
Growing up in rural America was never boring, at least not for brothers Freddy and George. Based on the adventures that would shape their lives, John "Freddy" and George Burgess share their childhood stories. Follow them as they live through fresh feathered eggs, 'accidental' car rides, bathroom episodes, Aunt Maggie's blue jays, and milking school. There are times of being a hop too slow, the wrong color calf, a lily-livered puff, cow-tail skiing, church camp undercover undressing, and more.
Captured with humor and love, Fresh Feathered Eggs takes you back to the mid 20th Century when these two brothers began to experience the world. Packed with anecdotes, colorful characters and "those neighbors" we all had, their story is a nostalgic ride back to a time of trust, hard work and faith.
Fresh Feathered Eggs is a loving and honest tribute to rural America. |
